About PartyBets:
PartyBets is part of the PartyGaming brand which is listed on the London Stock Exchange has been around for a lucky 13 years and is also home to PartyPoker and PartyCasino among others. With its base in Gibraltar for gambling purposes, the company originated in the Caribbean and last November purchased the World Poker Tour to expand its presence and make the rewards for playing very great indeed. This has helped make the company the largest poker brand. So, to PartyBets which was launched in Late 2006, after PartyGaming purchased existing service Gamebookers.
PartyBets certainly sounds like a fun place to visit, so it's a bit of a disappointment to come across what looks like a typical betting site on the other side of the URL. No streamers, strippers, disco lights or anything! The site is, thankfully, not a heavy-scrolling affair, keeping most of its information on a single viewable page. The front page offers the latest live events, links to major sports and is the first site I've come across without a promotional bonus offer, instead offering PartyPoints, which would rather spoil the, um, party for a newcomer.

The site is available in ten languages, works in pounds, dollars and euros and can display odds in decimal, fractional and American. This is changeable with a click at the bottom of the screen. Creating an account takes just a few minutes and you can deposit money using most cards and payment systems including PayPal, Western Union and Click2Pay into the company's Pay-Pro system which handles all transfers. Accounts are useable on any of the Party sister sites, but there is minimal advertising or links, perhaps to help keep your mind on the sports.
On the front page are a list of featured bets that might tickle your fancy while a big green button takes you directly to Live Betting. There's a countdown timer to the start of the next event and list of what's to come from all sports underneath. The odds for the most common bets are thoroughly predictable compared to PartyBet's rivals. Click on the square icon next to each event and a pop-up shows the latest information from major news outlets that might affect your bets, worth investigating before you put money down.
If you do want to venture outside Sports Betting, there are some tiny tabs at the top of the screen for PartyGaming's other sites. Poker leads directly to the rather famous PartyPoker site which is one of the biggest gaming properties in the world. There is a £100 sign-up bonus for the site and places on the World Poker Tour up for grabs in the biggest of games. With its own software, you at least get a unique interface and look to the program and the range of tournaments, games and bets looks unmatched.

Welcome Bonus
PartyCasino offers up to a £500 bonus and you can either download the prize games or pay for free using a browser. The casino offers the usual range of games and slots, plus there's a Live Dealer option where you can chat to a real dealer while playing Roulette, Blackjack or Baccarat. PartyGammon.com offers a 50% bonus on singing up and uses downloadable software to play, this site has video tutorials. Finally, PartyBingo has a range of games and prize levels with side games and other distractions to try to bring some of the life of the bingo hall to the desktop.
The core PartyBets site is pretty drab and functional compared to some other sites, but since your attention should be on the action, this shouldn't be a problem. Compared to the rest of the Party sites though, it is definitely an ugly duckling.
